US Accountant (Temporary WFH) with 50K Signing Bonus!

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing superior financial and accounting services. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares day-to-day and month-end close entries including revenue, payroll, prepaid expenses, unbilled accounts receivable, and accrued liabilities. 
• Prepares reconciliations for necessary balance sheet accounts and various other general ledger accounts, as needed. 
• Assists in preparing month-end and year-end closing processes. 
• Develops and maintains an understanding of the accounting operations within each assigned client. Obtains a working knowledge of the client’s accounting software packages (primarily Unanet – www.unanet.com). 
• Assists in preparation of the client’s year-end submissions. 
• Interact with the client as needed. 

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant US General Accounting experience is required for this position
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, US (9:00 PM to 5:00 AM MNL)
