UK Finance Manager (Hybrid)

Overseeing core bookkeeping, credit control, and monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive issue resolution. Supports UK outsourcing engagements while leading junior team development and driving process improvements.
 
Job Specification:

  • Oversight of the group's core functions and all bookkeeping (Sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations).
  • Oversight of the groups credit control being able to manage more complex issues such as client arrears, agreeing payment plans and legal action.
  • Preparation of the group's monthly management accounts with minimal review points. Being able to fully understand all variances and highlight any potential errors or anomalies to management.
  • Responsible for the group recharges, ensuring the recharges are accurately identified, calculated, and recorded. Identifying additional ad hoc expenses incurred during the year which should be recharged.
  • Take ownership for the management of junior finance team members, ensuring they can meet their deliverables to a high standard. Take a lead role in their learning and development, identifying training opportunities to increase job efficiency and quality, providing guidance and support with their professional development, and managing the appraisal process and action plans.
  • Assist with the management of the groups outsourcing service line, assisting the UK managers to deliver outsourcing engagements to a high standard and within deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing the group's annual budgets and forecasts across each department.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Take a leading role in living and promoting the firm's values and culture across team and helping people to achieve these.

 Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid setup (onsite at our office in Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City on Mondays and Fridays, and work from home Tuesday to Thursday).

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday | UK (3:30 PM to 11:30 PM MNL) 
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (twice a week)
