AU Senior Tax Accountant

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing tax engagements, supporting junior accountants, and ensuring all lodgments meet ATO deadlines and quality standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian taxation laws and ATO regulations.
  • Assist in tax planning, forecasting, and providing advisory support to clients.
  • Review work papers and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle trust distributions, Division 7A, and FBT as applicable
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and respond to ATO queries.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and industry developments
  • Assist in improving internal processes and workflow efficiency.

 
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian taxation.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English for client-facing communication.

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: WFH (must be willing to report onsite once a month)
