AU Senior Risk, Compliance & Process Analyst (Hybrid)
We're looking for an experienced Senior Risk, Compliance & Process Analyst to join our Australian client specializing in insolvency and restructuring industry. In this role, you'll help strengthen the firm's risk, compliance, quality assurance, and operational processes while working closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager.
The role focuses on reviewing insolvency matters, analyzing IPS reports and exceptions, maintaining SOPs, improving workflows, and preparing risk and quality assurance reports.
Key Responsibilities
Appointment Risk Review, Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Review IPS task completion, exception, and compliance reports to identify risks, control gaps, and process issues.
- Prepare quality assurance reports, document findings, track remediation actions, and support management reporting.
Policies, Process Guides & Standard Operating Procedures
- Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, process guides, checklists, and internal documentation.
- Ensure processes, workflows, and documentation are accurate, consistent, and aligned with operational requirements.
Operational & Regulatory Risk and Compliance
- Support the firm's risk and compliance framework, including AML/KYC, conflicts of interest, and operational risk processes.
- Conduct compliance research, maintain registers, and identify potential compliance issues and control weaknesses.
Training & Implementation
- Prepare training materials and support the rollout of new processes, systems, and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with staff training, gather feedback, and monitor adoption of new procedures.
Project & Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate risk and compliance projects, maintain action trackers, and monitor project progress.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, prepare status updates, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements;
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 4-5 years' relevant professional experience in audit or assurance, risk and compliance, internal controls, internal audit, quality assurance, process improvement, accounting, or professional services.
- Experience reviewing processes, controls, compliance requirements, or audit workpapers.
- Experience analysing system-generated task completion, exception or workflow reports and validating findings against underlying records.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify control gaps, inconsistencies, and operational risks.
- Experience preparing reports, SOPs, process documentation, or technical guides.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup, with at least 3 days per week in our Eastwood, Quezon City office. Must have reliable internet connection for work-from-home days.
Desirable Qualifications (Not Required)
- Australian insolvency or restructuring experience.
- Experience working with Australian, UK, US or other international clients or professional services firms
- Knowledge of workflow or practice management systems (e.g., IPS).
- CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, or similar professional qualification (completed or in progress).
