AU Junior Accountant

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations and reporting for a range of clients. You will work with experienced team members and receive training in Australian accounting processes and software.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate client records
  • Complete bank, credit card and account reconciliations, and assist with resolving discrepancies
  • Process invoices, bills, payments and bank uploads
  • Maintain finance logs, supporting documents and organised client files
  • Assist with month-end journals, workpapers and account reviews
  • Prepare draft profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports for senior review
  • Raise questions promptly and follow documented client procedures and checklists

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply
  • Australian accounting experience is not required; training will be provided
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar software is helpful but not essential
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence learning new systems
  • Good attention to detail, organisation, and written and spoken English
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback and work as part of a team

Training: Australian accounting processes and systems training provided
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
 
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: Onsite daily / Hybrid (3x onsite weekly)
