AU Insolvency Accountant (Onsite)

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on managing finance processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional service across our finance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding of new insolvency clients in relevant systems
  • Preparation of standard appointment notifications
  • Preparation and monitoring of ASIC statutory lodgements
  • Monitoring bankrupt's compliance with the income contribution process
  • General operation of Insol 6 software, including input of financial information, data processing and maintenance
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS for insolvency appointments
  • Generating financial reports of insolvent entities through XERO and MYOB
  • Analysing bank statements using OCR software and tools
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts through Insol 6 software
  • Tasks associated with the finalisations of liquidation and bankruptcy matters

Requirements: 

  • Insolvency is a very specialised field in accounting, and it is not expected that the candidate will have any specific insolvency knowledge or skills - full training will be provided in this area.
  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field.
  • Proficiency with XERO accounting software
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience is required for this position.
  • Previous experience working for an international practice is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule:
 Monday to Friday, AU (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: Onsite then hybrid after 6 months
