AU Financial Modeller (Permanent WFH)

To provide high quality financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical support and is responsible for building, reviewing, and maintaining robust financial models including 3Way Budgets, 3Way Forecasts, cash flow models, scenario analysis, and decision support tools.
  
Perform monthly CFO Services tasks including but not limited to:

• Building and updating financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supporting monthly client lock-down and planning processes.
• Preparing scenario and sensitivity analysis for client decision making
• Updating client dashboards and management reporting.
• Providing ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Assisting with Power BI and advanced reporting capability development.

  
Other Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Planning: Build and contribute ideas to improve modelling methodologies, assumptions, and analytical frameworks.
• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and maintain 3-way financial models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow), as well as develop budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of financial modelling templates, tools, and IP; help refine and establish modelling standards to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability.
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality client deliverables, and to understand client needs and modelling objectives.
• Provide guidance and technical support to Junior Analysts and Accountants.
• Complete own administration and client deliverables as required.

  
Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel® skills (financial modelling, formulas, scenario tools).
• Strong financial modelling and analytical experience.
• Experience building 3-way models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Familiarity with MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online highly regarded.
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a logical, structured approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain numbers simply.
• A genuine interest in working in a collaborative, fast growing advisory firm.
• Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MNL)
