The client is an Australian accounting firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Administration Support Professional to join our team offshore.

This is a blended role combining bookkeeping with accounting practice administration, workflow support and partner assistance. You will work closely with our accountants and partners to ensure client work is processed accurately, on time, and in line with Australian compliance requirements.
 
This role suits someone who enjoys structured work, follow-ups, and supporting multiple jobs rather than providing advisory services.
 
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting Support

  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with invoicing and debtor follow-ups
  • Maintain general ledger records and supporting documentation
  • Prepare bookkeeping data to accountant-ready standard
  • Assist with BAS preparation support (data preparation and reconciliation)
  • Provide payroll processing support and maintain payroll records
  • Assist with client Xero support requests

Australian Practice Administration

  • Process ATO client correspondence using ATO Mate
  • Prepare ASIC annual company reviews, forms, and compliance cycles
  • Attend to setup of Companies and Trusts and associated registrations (ABN, GST, PAYGW)
  • Manage client documents for tax returns, financial statements, and ASIC filings
  • Coordinate e-signatures and follow up outstanding client approvals
  • Maintain accurate client files and records in firm systems
  • Assist with ATO portal and compliance-related administration (non-advisory)

Workflow & Team Support

  • Monitor job status and work-in-progress for BAS, IAS, ITR, and ASIC tasks
  • Follow up internally and with clients on missing information
  • Update practice management systems and workflow tools
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to accountants and managers
  • Support billing and job completion processes

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or accounting firm administration
  • Hands-on experience with Xero, Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
  • Exposure to Australian accounting firm workflows
  • Understanding of BAS, GST, and Australian compliance cycles (support level)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Highly Desirable

  • Experience supporting Australian accounting firms and Australian clients
  • Experience with Now Infinity, Ignition/Engage, ATO mate or similar tools
  • ASIC compliance administration experience
  • Payroll processing support experience
  • Prior work-from-home or offshore role experience

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
