AU Audit Manager (WFH)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the audit services provided to our clients, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of the audits under appropriate supervision, guidance and instructions from the Partner in accordance with our audit methodology and use of CaseWare and associated tools.
- Handle audit engagements from planning to completion on key elements of a client's financial statements.
- Maintaining accurate timesheets with a focus on achieving a minimum of 90%productivity.
- Staying up-to-date with current auditing and accounting standards and assessing their impact on client engagements.
- Participating in weekly team meetings to discuss priorities, progress on assigned jobs, and any challenges encountered to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Communicating professionally with clients and team members, building strong working relationships.
- Adhering to the firm's established work practices and contributing suggestions for process improvements to the audit division in a constructive manner.
- Developing a strong understanding of accounting practices relevant to our audit clients, interpreting financial data to develop effective audit plans, including materiality assessments and risk identification.
- Identifying opportunities to provide value-added services and improve clients' accounting systems.
- Developing the ability to prepare accurate and meaningful financial reports from available information.
- Monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) for assigned jobs, reviewing opening balances, tracking accumulation, and analysing final WIP upon completion.
- Collaborating with and supporting team members, fostering a positive and harmonious team environment where everyone feels valued.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree
- Must be CA or CPA qualified
- Must have 5 years of audit experience and 2-3 years of audit manager experience in a mid-sized accounting firm preferred.
- Familiarity with Australian accounting industry and knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
