AU Accountant (Hybrid)

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing superior financial and accounting services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings,
payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation. - Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit &
loss statements. - Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
- Execute month-end closing activities, involving journals, forecasting, and analysis.
- Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
- Ideally with 1 year Australian accounting experience
- Experience in Xero accounting software is required
- Proficiency in MYOB, HubDoc, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, and Excel) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent English communication – both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
