The role needs strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. The role is expected to have regular and independent communication with management, peers in finance and other functions/business. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Reconciling sales and end-of-day reconciliations of cash receipts, EFTPOS transactions and other transactions for the portfolio of Corporate Stores.
  • Monitoring and reporting on banking by Corporate Stores. 
  • Recording of "Paid Outs / Expenses" at store level. 
  • Liaising with the respective Corporate Store Managers and the National Corporate Asset Manager to resolve queries. 
  • Corporate Store accounting administration - e.g., administration relating to new store set up, liaising with EFTPOS terminal provider, etc. 
  • Data entry of supplier invoices using OCR software and paperless approvals system. 
  • Assisting with preparing supplier statement reconciliations. 
  • Setting up new suppliers and completing credit applications.
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and outstanding payable invoices. 
  • Assisting with the raising of invoices and credit notes in relation to Corporate Store debtor accounts. 
  • Following up with outstanding debtors for payment of accounts. 
  • Providing reconciliation support in respect of debtor accounts. 
  • Providing data entry support to the Accounting Team. 
  • Providing general accounting reconciliation support at month end or as requested. 
  • General office administration within the team. 
  • Other duties as may reasonably be requested. 

Requirements: 

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or any related program.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position. 
  • Experience with using accounting software especially MS Dynamics GP, ABBYY, M-Files and functional knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.

Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL) 
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
