What’s New in Recruitment? Tailored Assessments

As Frontline Accounting continues to expand, so does our pool of talented applicants eager to join our FAmily!

The Recruitment Team's responsibility is to select the perfect candidates. So, to help us do just that, we've implemented new assessments for candidates.

Previously, we only had the accounting and bookkeeping assessments, but with more candidates now coming in with specialized experience, we've designed new tests to better assess their skills and expertise.

I won’t bog you down with too many details, but here's a quick overview of the assessments we now have in place:

• Bookkeeping Assessment – For candidates with local bookkeeping experience

• Accounting Assessment – For candidates with local accounting experience.

• UK Bookkeeping Assessment – For candidates with at least 6 months of UK bookkeeping experience.

• AU Bookkeeping Assessment – For candidates with at least 6 months of Australian bookkeeping experience.

• AU Accounting Assessment – For candidates with at least 1 year of Australian accounting experience.

• AU Senior Accounting Assessment – For candidates with over 2 years of Australian accounting experience.

Every candidate must meet a designated cut-off score to move forward to the next stage – allowing us to gauge their accounting knowledge and ensure they are equipped to perform well in their roles.

And don't worry—these tests were personally created by experienced accountants on our team who have been in the industry for years.

Along with the specialized accounting tests, we’ve also introduced an Aptitude Test to assess their power skills (e.g. problem-solving, time management, attention to detail, and adaptability among others), ensuring candidates can thrive in our dynamic work environment.
