Kicking Off in Style: DFK Emerging Leaders Conference – Lisbon (Feb 20 to 21)
What better way to start the year than a trip to sunny Lisbon? The DFK Emerging Leaders Conference kicks off our event calendar and marks the first of two DFK events for Frontline this year.
The accounting world seems determined to dodge the dull and damp UK for its early gatherings —and we’re not complaining! Whether it’s ski slopes or sunny locales, a bright start to conference season sounds perfect. I’m personally looking forward to this one — it’s a fantastic way to ease into the whirlwind of events and we may even get a bit of golf in!

Spring Forward: 2020 Spring Conference – Levelling Up – Birmingham (Feb 26)
Our first UK event of the year is the 2020 Spring Conference, takes place in Birmingham. The theme, Level Up: Practice Management and Profitability in 2025, aligns perfectly with Frontline’s mission.

Destination Manila: Frontline Team Trip – Whiterock Resort – Subic Bay, PH (March 20 to 22)
We’ll be hosting our annual team trip at Whiterock Resort in Subic Bay just north of Manila. After such a fantastic time last year, we’re ready to do it all over again – team building, games, cocktails, and great company included.

The Big Event: Digital Accountancy Show – London (April 1 to 2)
Mark your calendars for the 1st and 2nd of April at Battersea Evolution, London, where we’ll attend the Digital Accountancy Show. This isn’t a typical conference; it’s a modern learning experience that stands out from the usual vendor-packed halls.
We’re going bigger and better this year, so you’ll have no trouble finding the Frontline team. I’ll also be taking the stage alongside some of our clients to discuss why offshoring is now the preferred alternative over traditional outsourcing. Don’t miss it!
Home Field Advantage: DFK Global Conference – Edinburgh (July 7 to 11)
I can’t wait to do my first home ground conference in July 2025, not my home city of Glasgow but Edinburgh is only 45 minutes away. The DFK Annual Conference is unmissable for the huge network of DFK firms. After I watched the videos from the Belfast event and this year’s expectations are high. I’m confident Scotland will prevail in being the best DFK Annual conference venue yet... let’s hope it stays dry though. 😆

A Summer Holiday and Preparation for H2
After the whirlwind first half of the year, a summer holiday will be in order. A chance to catch our breath, it’s important to recharge and prepare for the exciting second half of the year.
Back to School: September Back to Business.
September begins with an exciting event in Central London. While the details are still under wraps, I can promise it will be a significant and innovative gathering, tailored for senior leaders in accountancy practices. We’re keeping a lid on specifics for now,but trust me – it’s something you’ll want to keep an eye on.
Later that month, we’ll head north to Manchester for Accountex North.This event holds a special place in my heart. It’s the only major conference dedicated to the northern UK that’s managed to thrive over the years. The relaxed pace compared to its London counterpart offers a fantastic chance to engage with clients and prospects on a more personal level. If you’re in the area or planning to attend, let’s make sure to connect!
Then back to Birmingham to close out the UK events with our friends at 2020 Innovation for their end of year conference, more details on this to come nearer the time.
Wrapping Up the Year: Frontline Christmas Party – Manila – November 21
November marks the grand finale for our year with the Frontline Christmas Party in Manila. This event has grown into a spectacle, now welcoming nearly 1,000 staff. Imagine Hollywood-level production values, vibrant celebrations, and a chance to recognize the incredible people who make Frontline what it is. It’s a party like no other, you can watch the video here, so you’ll know I’m not exaggerating.
