AU Intermediate Accountant (Onsite)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation.
- Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Accurate data entry and bookkeeping.
- Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS & FBT Returns.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs and companies.
- Assist in overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements.
- Perform detailed month-end and year-end closing activities, including complex reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
- Collaborating closely with senior accountants and managers on complex matter
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Australian accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, or QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess a can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work on site in Eastwood City, Quezon City
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: Onsite during probationary and a possibility of Work from home arrangement after regularization
