AU Business Development Assistant (WFH)
We're looking for a Business Development Assistant to support driving business development efforts and maintaining high-quality client engagement!
Join a dynamic team within a leading provider of disability and support services in Australia to help grow their footprint and strengthen their engagement with prospective clients. You'll combine marketing outreach, business development support and high-level administrative coordination to drive meetings, build relationships and maintain accurate systems.
This role is ideal for someone who's proactive, organized and eager to make meaningful impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Database and CRM Management: Maintain and update contact records, interaction logs, appointment details and related data in the CRM.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Build, segment and manage lists of prospective clients or referral partners.
- Email Communications: Draft and send professional, persuasive email campaigns to introduce services, engage prospects and secure meetings for senior team members. Track response rates, follow-up actions and schedule next steps.
- Calendar Management: Coordinate senior team calendars by scheduling meetings, monitoring availability, sending meeting invites, and ensuring all logistical details are handled.
- Service Knowledge and Support: Build a solid understanding of the business' range of disability-support and allied-health services to effectively respond to initial queries, help direct interest and support the business development process.
- Networking and Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners within the industry to enhance collaboration, referrals, and business opportunities.
- Digital and Social Media Marketing: Plan, create, and manage marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google My Business) to boost brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
- Content Creation and Brand Consistency: Design and publish engaging content using Canva and ensure all marketing materials follow the company's brand guide for a consistent and professional image.
- Marketing Strategy and Growth: Identify opportunities for business growth and visibility; develop and schedule marketing plans and activities for review and approval.
- Client and Worker Engagement: Collaborate with clients and team members to create holistic, person-centered campaigns and social media engagements that reflect the organization's values and services.
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree, post graduate diploma or professional degree
- At least 2 years of working experience in a marketing or business development role
- Proficient in using HubSpot, Canva, Meta Business Suite (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and Google My Business
- Strong grasp of brand guidelines and consistency in execution
- Strong interpersonal and phone skills for communications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Proactive in identifying business growth opportunities
