AU Bookkeeper (Permanent WFH)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping
- Bank reconciliations (main bank accounts, credit card, Paypal)
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Payroll (including STP filing)
- Adding new employee and details
- Processing basic weekly payroll
- Processing of superannuation payments
- Complete end of year Payroll reconciliations and STP Finalisation
Reconciliation and Reporting
- General Ledger maintenance/checks.
Tax Activities
- Prepare and Lodge Annual TPAR
- Quarterly BAS/IAS via Xero Tax
- Monthly BAS/IAS via Xero Tax
- Annual BAS reconciliation
- Extract lodgments from ATO
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or any accounting related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in Accounting practice.
- At least 1 to 2 years of Australian Accounting experience is ideal.
- Solid background on bookkeeping using XERO is ideal.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive "team player".
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.
- Must be willing to work on a fixed AU shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
- Must have a stable internet connection for a permanent work from home arrangement. The designated remote work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM MNL)
