AU Accountant (Temporary WFH)

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records for our client in Australia.
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, providing superior financial and accounting services.
Responsibilities
- Review clients' bookkeeping and provide assistance as required.
- Prepare clients' Business Activity Statements.
- Prepare Annual STP Finalisation Reports.
- Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and SMSF's.
- Execute month-end closing activities involving journals.
- Preparing monthly or quarterly budgets, cashflow forecasts and analysis.
- Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in finance or any related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in accounting
- Ideally a CPA
- Familiarity or experience in Australian tax regulations is preferred
- High level of proficiency in using computer software and a fast learning curve of new technologies
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Stable internet connection and a designated work area that's private and separated from shared spaces used by other household members
Location: Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City
Schedule: AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Work Arrangement: Work-from-Home (Must be willing to report to the office for quarterly training)
